Awesome food, big desserts, reasonable prices. Service was on point for a snowy Sunday with about 10 customers and 5 or 6 call in orders. Really enough food to satisfy even the hungriest blue collar.

I had a veggie omelet. Very good and well made. Also came with American fries. Not EXACTLY what I expected. But ok. Meal over all with service. 5 stars

Good food, good service, and there are no words good enough for that bakery case! If you've been to either of The Pinecone locations, its owned by the same family. We drove down from Sparta to have lunch here the other day specifically because of the relation. Definitely worth it. :)

Our server was great! The cinnamon rolls are super yummy. I didn't go full 5 stars because the prices on our receipt did not match the prices on the menu. That was a little frustrating. It is a great stop for breakfast overall though.

Good food and great service.

Everyone who works there is very friendly. The Apple cinnamon French toast was fantastic along with their bacon and bakery items. Everything was a great price. A great family restaurant that’s definitely worth checking out!

I eat here often. The food is always awesome for the price and the staff are amazing. The deserts are unbeatable.

A welcome rest on a long ways to home. Have often stopped here for a respite and enjoyed the food, beverage and service. Today, however, perhaps with the changes brought about by COVID, it seemed a more crowded than usual, the service seemed hurried and the food a little less enjoyable than before. I’ll definitely stop again, because it is so much more enjoyable than the busyness of the Dells.

I stopped here on my way home. They serve a delicious fish fry on Friday nights. The waitstaff and cook are super friendly to chat with too.

Cheese omelet served w/o cheese. This was corrected and was delicious. Roast beef dinner served with burnt gravy and looked like a pile of diarrhea. Cheeseburger was expensive...small and overcooked. Waitress was very attentive and friendly. It may have been an off night and I will possibly give it a second chance.

One of my must stop places to eat. Consistent food, affordable specials and friendly staff. This is not a Michelin restaurant but a welcome relief off I94!

We had a wonderful experience. The service was great. The food was great and the cookies were great for dessert.

Ate here two nights in a row both times wait staff never came to the to check to see if i needed anything they came just to take my order and give me the bill order different things each night never got my vegetables or my rolls food ok but service was bad sitting here 10 minutes after i have eaten waiting on check i guess talking to each other is more important then customer i had to go counter to pay the bill

Home cooked food. Social distancing in place. The waitress was quick and friendly. Homemade American fries were delicious.

Warm kind atmosphere. Great looking restaurant inside. As a truck driver I was glad to pop in and receive tremendous guest service, food cooked to my liking and really fair prices for the quality and the amount of food given!

Well the prime rib was hands down awsome💥 and also the waite staff is awsome as well👍they are always so friendly and check back with you to make sure all is well. Keep up the great work😀

Breakfast and bakery here are so fresh and tasty. Server was friendly and helpful. Pancakes and syrup were delicious!

I stop by there with my friend. On are way to necedah the restaurant was not busy it would have been nice to have more coffee then two cups.

Beautiful clean and great people

Loved the apple cinnamon french toast. Bread is made right there with the apple pieces and cinnamon. FRESH AND YUMMMMY. Took half of it home and was delicious again the next morning. Cranberry items of every kind you can think of. Will stop there again ,gas station also.

This was a great spot. Food was good and fast. Our server Kiki was so sweet. They looked to be doing a great job of social distancing between tables,disinfecting and cleaning .

Good service, folks are personable. Had mushroom, onion, sausage, and cheese omelette with sauteed potatoes and rye bread toast. Coffee with spice "carrot" cake to boot. Mmm

Just had a DELISH Omelette and it was FILLED with meat and veggies!! When I asked to hold potatoes and toast....but may I please have an extra egg instead. NO PROBLEM!! ...NO UPCHARGE!! Thank You for being one of the very few restaurants that is flexible!! Good Coffee and Great Service!! We ALWAYS eat here when passing thru area. Highly recommend!!

Use to be good, ordered the chicken fried steak, the gravy was cold and the steak was not even pounded flat.

I really wanted to like this restaurant. I ordered the Fried Walleyed Pike and Fried Shrimp. The meal came with dumpling soup which was all dumpling and a couple of pieces of celery (I don't remember if the soup was supposed to have chicken or not.) The Pike was thin, dry and crispy almost like a chip. The shrimp was popcorn and you could only taste the breading. The cocktail sauce was gelatinous like Jell-O. I did like the roll. I feel really bad about this negative 1st experience because the staff was super nice.

I have came to this restaurant a couple of times since im here on business and I had the sirloin steak several times and let me tell you it’s one of the best I’ve ever ate , perfectly seasoned and the grilled taste just great. I put 4 stars just cause I hope they work on the sweet tea doesn’t taste as good and it takes a while to get a refill.

Food is good, service is good, what's not to like?

Good home style food, waitress was friendly and fast.

1) I wanted an ice cream cone. Couldn't get anyone to look at me, much less come to the counter. All I needed was eye contact and "I'll be with you in a moment." Instead, I was ignored.2) Tried this place one last time 8-13-20. Dark haired lady assisting a man at register. Blonde gal, walking around. Rag in hand, wiping nothing. No offer to seat me or take an order. No wonder the place is empty.

Feels like a hometowny local family restaurant. We had great service, food was what you would expect, except for the kids meals which were better than expected for the price. Also, the dessert case looked amazing!

This place used to be good. It was one of our favorites as it was so convenient to stop for gas, get Carr valley cheese curds, and get a good meal at a decent price. However, the last several times we've stopped have been awful. Slow service when the restaurant is not even busy and the food did not even taste good. So not worth it anymore.
